Overview

The Conference Secretariat has negotiated special rates for the RCOG 2012 at six hotels located in Kuching, Sarawak. The majority of the hotels are located in the Kuching City Centre, and all hotels will require ground transportation to and from the Congress Venue, the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.

As there are limited rooms available at each of the six hotels, Congress Delegates are strongly encouraged to make room reservations early and before the cut-off date indicated to avoid disappointment. After the cut-off date, hotel room availability and pricing may vary.

Due to the distance of the hotels to the Congress Venue, scheduled pick-up and drop-off coaches will be organised for the six Congress Hotels for the duration of the Congress from the 6th to the 8th of June 2012. A detailed coach schedule will be included in a Congress Welcome Pack, which will be emailed to registered delegates closer to the time of the Congress.

The hotel rooms negotiated for RCOG 2012 are for the convenience of the Congress Delegates and the Congress Secretariat/Organisers will not be earning any commissions or benefitting financially from the rooms. The Conference Secretariat will not be responsible for room reservations made with the hotels.

How to Reserve a Hotel Room

1. If a ‘Booking Link’ is indicated for your selected hotel, click on the link and you will be directed to the hotel’s dedicated webpage to make your room reservation. If the link does not work or if you receive an error message, contact the hotel directly for reservations and further instructions.
2. If a ‘Booking Form’ is indicated, click on the link to download the booking form and return it to the hotel for your room reservation.
3. If a ‘Hotel Link’ is indicated for your selected hotel, click on the link and you will be directed to the hotel’s website where you can make your room rate enquiries and reservations. If the link does not to work or if you receive an error message, contact the hotel directly for reservations and further instructions.
4. Credit card information will need to be provided to secure your room reservations.
5. Please take note of the room cancellation policies, as indicated by the respective hotel.

Please note that the scheduled pick-up and drop-off coaches to and from the Congress Venue during the congress dates will not be available from these other hotels. Delegates will be required to make their way to one of the six Congress Hotels or arrange for alternative transportation.
