ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE - 29 February 2012



Call for Abstracts

1. Participants are invited to submit an abstract for consideration by the RCOG 2012 Scientific Committee.
   
2. Papers must not have been presented / published elsewhere.
   
3. A limited number of abstracts will be scheduled for Oral Presentation.
   
4. The Committee reserves the right to decide on the final mode of presentation.
   
5. The Committee reserves the right to select the abstracts relevant to the sessions.
   
6. Abstracts will be published in an online supplement of BJOG only upon receipt of the Registration Fee in full.
   

Submission Guidelines

1. Abstracts must be submitted in English using the Online Abstract Submission Form.
   
2. Abstracts submitted by fax, email or paper copy will not be considered.
   
3. Select your preferred mode of presentation (Oral / Video / Electronic Poster).
   
4. Select one (1) of the four listed streams relevant to your paper.
   
5. Abstract texts should have the following structure: Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions. The text must not contain more than 400 words and cannot include tables / graphs / diagrams / pictures.
   
6. The numbers of references should appear in the order they appear in the abstract.
   
7. Sources of funding should be indicated at the bottom of the abstract.
   
8. All abstracts regardless of final mode of presentation, should be submitted on or before 29 February 2012 .
   
9. Selected presenting authors will be notified by 15 March 2012.
   
10. For each abstract, the Registration Fee for the presenting author should be paid by 1 April 2012.
    
11. Once the abstract submission has been accepted, a confirmation email and password will be sent to you.
    
12. You may re-enter the online system using your password to make any corrections.
    
13. No changes can be made after the deadline.
